Emily thought this Friday was going to be just another day playing tennis with Patrick, as they often do. The couple began as friends in 2010, when Patrick would give Emily tennis lessons at Frontier Park. During those lessons, they got to know each other and often spent more time talking then actually playing tennis. To this day, Patrick still considers tennis to be the reason they are together. So he thought it would be rather fitting to ask the love of his life to to marry him on those same tennis courts.

They began like usual, hitting back and forth, and talking during breaks. Then after about an hour, Patrick starting saying some really nice things about how tennis had brought them together. Patrick told her that ever since those first tennis lessons, he knew that he wanted to be with her. Catching Emily completely off guard, he was down on one knee, asking her to marry him.

 

The rest of the day was spent telling their loved ones. Later in the evening the Grab's and the Taccone's met at Tap House for a celebration!
